Objectives

The Foundation aims at :

• Promoting the development of knowledge in the field of nervous system diseases, and dissemination through the country and outside the country.


• Purchasing new technological devices in the field of neurosciences (mainly in neurosurgery) for a better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of nervous system diseases.


• Taking part in continuing medical education of medical staff and promoting research in the field of nervous system diseases.


• Preventing and relieving handicap and its sequelae through improving the conditions for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of nervous system diseases.


• Developing collaboration with national and international foundations and bodies with similar aims.


• Hassan II Foundation for the Prevention and Cure of Nervous System Diseases is a nonprofit body without political or union-oriented commitment. It has been set up for an indefinite period, and it is located in Rabat (National Center for Rehabilitation and Neurosciences, Hopital des Specialites, Rabat). Its head office can relocate anywhere else upon decision of the Steering Committee members.
