THE IXTH WFNS-RTC-M5U COURSE FOR AFRICAN NEUROSURGEONS, OCTOBER 14-16, 2018

The Ninth WFNS-Rabat Training Center-Mohammed V University Course for African Neurosurgeons was held on October 14-16, 2018 at the National Center for Rehabilitation and Neurosciences. The course was organized under the auspices of the Moroccan Society of Neurosurgery (SMNC), and supported by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) and the Belgian Agency for Cooperation, Enabel.

The course took place as follows:

Clinical Course : the clinical course dealt with the following topics :

- Functional neurosurgery
- Radiosurgery
- Vascular neurosurgery
- Tumors
- Spine
- Endoscopy
- Education in Neurosurgery.

19 national and international lecturers gave lectures during the course. 35 participants (neurosurgeons) from various African countries attended the course (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, the Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea Conakry, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Togo, and Uganda).
